The Society has been performing important archive work on epigraphic collections and archaeological digs for a hundred years. It publishes the annual bulletin “Acts and Memories of the Istrian Society of Archaeology and Local History”, which now run to 110 volumes: an impressive fund of documentary items, monographs, scholarly memoirs, discussions and critical interpretations by contributors from Istria and Trieste, and others from Italy and beyond.
