Aquario Marino

The aquarium is home mainly to marine wildlife from the Gulf of Trieste, which include various species of jellyfish, ringed worms, molluscs, echinoderms, fish and shellfish. The top floor of the building features a Vivarium, with terrariums and a central tank that recreates the environmental conditions of Karst ponds. On the ground floor, the large 10,000-litre octagonal tank is home to small elasmobranchs (sharks and rays).
