Contains a review of the documentation produced by the Allied Military Government and now conserved at the US National Archives and Records Administration. The analysis work, performed at the National Archives headquarters at College Park, Maryland, identified several Trieste locations holding wide and complex documentation produced by US authorities or organisations in the first decade after World War II.
